TheEmperorArt added Permadelete as alternative to Donemax Data Eraser- tuva-hayabi reviewed Permadelete
No information if the files were erased successfully or not. The "permant" wiping even in ten passes does not take longer than just deleting files normally in the Windows Explorer, which seems strange to me. And wiping of a whole drive is simply not possible. I don't trust this software, I'm sorry.

Those who are technically attuned to the methods may wish that they would use the method names vs explanation, and may prefer Eraser program. Many people may want to overwrite an entire disk drive and this program doesn't provide an "easy button" to do so, however, the programs KillDisk and Hardwipe do. I got error messages when installing to Windows 10.. which I did twice.
Does not indicate ongoing progress. I took a 33 GB file and had it deleted to test. It should take a long time (I believe 1h, 1h30m), but there simply isn't anything. I don't think it's even deleting safely because it's impossible to be that quick with 3 steps. So I'm going to continue with Eraser anyway.
"Wiping/erasing" of several files from the recycle bin in ten passes did not take longer than deleting via Windows Explorer. So, I think you might be right, that nothing gets deleted safely.
