Pathrule

Pathrule is a context layer and workspace for AI coding agents. It gives agents persistent project knowledge through path-scoped memories, rules, and reusable skills, so useful context can carry across sessions, tools, and teammates instead of starting over with every prompt.

Build, run, and preview AI coding work live across Pathrule Studio and Remote.

What is Pathrule?

Pathrule is a context layer and workspace for AI coding agents. It gives agents persistent project knowledge through path-scoped memories, rules, and reusable skills, so useful context can carry across sessions, tools, and teammates instead of starting over with every prompt.

Pathrule Studio brings Chat, Tasks, Design, Signals, and coding agents into the same evolving understanding of a product. Developers can work with Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Kimi, Antigravity, and OpenCode in Studio, while tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, and GitHub Copilot can connect through the Pathrule CLI.

Unlike general-purpose conversational memory, Pathrule organizes knowledge around the project and the code being worked on. Relevant knowledge can be scoped to paths so agents receive the context that matters for the current work rather than the entire knowledge base. Teams can share the same memories, rules, and skills across a workspace.

Pathrule also provides an MCP server with local and hosted endpoints for MCP-compatible clients. The local server can integrate with the development environment and hooks, while the hosted endpoint provides OAuth-based access for cloud-only clients.

The core is open source, and Pathrule does not scan, index, or upload your source code. Individual developers can use Pathrule for free, with Team and Business plans available for shared workspaces and organizations.
