What is Pastebird?

Pastebird is a fast, simple and private clipboard manager for Windows 11.

Copy as you always do. Pastebird quietly remembers your text, links, file paths and copied files. Need something from earlier? Press Ctrl+Shift+V, type a few letters and hit Enter. Pastebird finds it instantly and pastes it straight into the app you were working in.

No main window, no toolbars, no complicated settings. Pastebird lives in your system tray and appears only when you need it.

Built for the keyboard Open, search, navigate, paste and delete without touching the mouse. Fuzzy search finds "C:\Projects\website\index.php" when you just type "proj".

Feels like part of Windows A clean Windows 11 design with acrylic, rounded corners and automatic light and dark mode.

Private by design Your clipboard often holds personal things: addresses, messages, codes. Pastebird keeps everything on your pc, encrypted for your Windows account. It never connects to the internet: no account, no cloud, no tracking, no ads. Content that password managers mark as private is never stored.

Free and open source Pastebird is free, with no premium version and no ads. The source code is public on GitHub.

Ctrl+C → later Ctrl+Shift+V → type → Enter → done.
