ParkRound

ParkRound is a web app for sharing a limited number of parking spaces fairly among a group: a hybrid office, a school staff car park, a housing estate. It replaces the spreadsheet rota and the "who's handing back Tuesday?" group chat.

How it works

• Request the days you want. It's free, and you can ask for as many as you like.
• Lock: at a deadline set by the admins (for example, Monday midday for the following week), ParkRound gives out the spaces, and priority goes to whoever has parked the least.
• Waitlist: missed out? Join a day's waitlist. It isn't a queue; if a space frees up, it goes to whoever has parked least on that list.
• Relinquish a day you no longer need, and it goes straight to the waitlist. Nobody has to announce it or re-draw it.
• Fairness runs on Usage, a running count of the days each person has actually parked. Everyone in the group can see everyone's Usage. For any day, anyone can open "how this day was decided" and see who competed, who won, and why.

• Per-weekday auto-request rules: set your regular days once and you don't need to open the app again
• A personal waitlist cutoff, so you stop being offered a space after you've made other plans
• A relinquish cutoff, blocked days for bank holidays and closures, and hidden weekends
• No hardware, gates or sensors. ParkRound is the shared record of who parks when.

Pricing as of Sep 2026: 30-day free trial, no card required. After that, £1.50 per person per month, or £12 per person per year.
