The application does what it says on the tin, and for my use-case at least, it does not require a user account. I found the UI to be visually pleasing and straight forward; I was able to be in and out of the application in under 5 minutes, barring load time for the disk operation. The gripes I have is that it is closed source and doesn't support Linux. With that said, this is likely the application I'll be returning to and that I will recommend to friends running Windows. Especially compared to the competition on Windows, which often comes with tons of bloatware and 500 pop-ups asking you to subscribe to the premium subscription of their service, this is my clear winner. For my use, downloading the application and using it once and then immediately uninstalling, the biggest factor is speed that I can get in and out of the application, and this is the best one I've found so far. Because of how common it is for apps of this nature to have telemetry, I wouldn't suggest leaving it on your computer if you do use it.
Takes up almost 8 GB of hard drive space for the recovery media.
You list Linux as one of the available platforms for Paragon Partition Manager, but their website says:
Supported Operating Systems
Windows 10 Windows 8.1 Windows 8 Windows 7 Windows Vista Windows XP SP3
This pretty much means Windows only.
you can manage your linux file systems using paragon. there is nothing about platforms for install
Registration with the company is required to install this, so it's not truly free. I didn't try the software for that reason, so I can't comment beyond this.
True. All of Paragon's software require you to register with their website, confirmation email and all. This is even required for their free software. It's really annoying, and I can't figure out why they do it.
