openOBD Alternatives

    openOBD is described as 'A cross platform GUI for OBD-II interface device control. Currently supporting ELM327 devices, the app allows you to view and clear error codes, and view live data from the ECU'. There are nine alternatives to openOBD for a variety of platforms, including Android, iPhone, Windows, iPad and Android Tablet. The best alternative is AndrOBD, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like openOBD are OBD Auto Doctor (Freemium), Torque (Freemium), DashCommand (Paid) and FORScan (Free).
