OE Classic is an email and Usenet reader designed to be a perfect replacement for Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail and even Mozilla Thunderbird.

There is still no support for IMAP accounts as was featured in the late, great Outlook Express. If they could get this sorted out OE Classic would be a fantastic alternative to OE, especially as it includes the more secure TLS 1.2 protocol for secure connections.
It also needs a built-in spam filter like the Spam Bully application that was written specifically for Outlook Express.
