Odie is an iPhone mileage tracker for people who drive for work: self-employed workers, real estate agents, contractors, consultants, and rideshare and delivery drivers.
How it works
Odie recognises your car over Bluetooth or CarPlay and records each drive by itself, with no button to press. When you park, the trip card on the Lock Screen asks Work or Personal: one tap and the trip is
logged. You can also add trips by hand, and record odometer readings to see how much of your driving the log covers.
At tax time
Odie builds a year report as a PDF and a CSV: every business trip with its date, destination, purpose and distance, a monthly summary, the business-use share, and the opening and closing odometer readings. Trips
are priced at the CRA automobile allowance rates in Canada or the IRS standard mileage rate in the United States, in kilometres or miles. Send the report to your accountant straight from your phone.
Private by design
There's no account to create and no server: your trips stay on your phone, with optional sync through your own private iCloud. No ads, no tracking, no third-party code.
Languages and pricing
Available in English and French. Free for 40 automatic trips a month, plus unlimited manual trips. Odie Pro removes the monthly limit and adds the year report.
A simpler, private alternative to MileIQ, Everlance and TripLog for iPhone.
