I did not try Noom because they asked a LOT of questions, showed me nothing but one graph, and then asked for money. I did not try Noom because they asked a LOT of questions, showed me nothing but one graph, and then asked for money. Yes, there's a 14 day trial but I really suspect the majority of their psychology knowledge is going into getting money from their customers. If they're really as interested in helping people as they claim they can get the credit card after the 14 day trial. Except then there's no chance that someone forgets to cancel, right? And I'd bet money that psychology says if you've already given them the card you're more likely to go ahead and keep the subscription. And I bet those first 14 days are the period when you get the most consistent benefits, that's the honeymoon period and it won't get hard till after they've got paid. I could be completely wrong about them, but them showing me nothing and asking for money was a hard no. That and all the happy sunshine language just has a really scammy feeling. I don't think they're a real scam, I'd guess they're the same kind of scam as any business trying to get the most cash out of each customer while spending the least amount possible to do it.
Bit buggy. Can't set up weight loss plan. It just rejects all your inputs and returns to main menu.
