What is NewPass?

Take full control of your passwords with NewPass, an open-source password manager. Born out of my personal need to protect my credentials after a cyberattack, I developed this app to provide a secure and reliable solution for everyone. With NewPass, you can generate and securely store strong passwords on your device, without worrying about compromises or losses.

NewPass features include a robust password generator for creating complex and secure passwords, local storage for privacy and control, AES encryption for additional security, SQLite Cipher for database encryption, and a user-friendly interface for easy management. The app doesn't store passwords on external servers, minimizing unauthorized access risk.

If you uninstall the app, all passwords will be lost. The encryption key is user-chosen and requested every time the app is launched. It also offers options for copying passwords and securely sharing them with other applications.
