NetCrunch is an all-in-one and agentless network monitoring and management system, capable of monitoring every device in your network. Monitor bandwidth, availability, performance, services, NetFlow and more. Automatically generate views and maps and real-time displays. Receive alerts via email, SMS, pop-up, or configure NetCrunch to take automatic corrective actions like restarting a service or running a script.
NetCrunch monitors all leading operating systems like Windows, Linux, VMware ESX/ESXi, Mac OS X, and BSD. All without requiring agents or SNMP.
NetCrunch monitors the performance and availability of 65 network services, including Ping, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, SMTP, and more.
A Netflow traffic server is included, that integrates network traffic flow data from a range of devices using all popular protocols like: IPFix, NetFlow (v5 & v9), sFlow, JFlow, netStream, CFlow, AppFlow, and rFlow.
NetCrunch 10 supports all SNMP versions including version 3 with support for version 3 traps. It uses the SNMP protocol to monitor routers, switches, printers, firewalls, sensors, and other network devices. Along with over 7,000 included MIBs, NetCrunch 10 also features a MIB compiler so you can easily add new MIBs to the program library.
Open Monitor gives you easy way to connect data from any source, be it an application or a device. It allows for the easy delivery of any counter data to NetCrunch 10. It can be a script (i.e, VBScript, PowerShell, Javascript) running on the NetCrunch Server or an application. Data can also be sent to NetCrunch 10 from any remote system simply using REST API.
With over 100 predefined Monitoring Packs for operating systems and SNMP manageable network devices, NetCrunch 10 can identify, configure, and begin monitoring your network's devices out of the box. Baseline thresholds and range triggers learn your network and alert you to unexpected changes. Monitoring dependencies prevent alert floods.

I have been using Netcrunch since version 8. The initial setup was very simple even for somebody like me, as I’m not exactly a networking guy. The Dashboards make it easy to stay on top of the network. Being able to configure the way that we get alerted (email, sms, etc) gave us the freedom we were looking for.
The setup is very intuitive, and quick - it all just took a few minutes, and we were done. The Dashboard layout makes it easy to manage our network. Our network is made up of a lot of Windows servers, Cisco routers, access points, and Linux machines - so it's really diverse - yet NetCrunch is able to handle it all. All in all, it's a real workhorse, we're just happy with it.
I have been using NetCrunch since version 6. The Dashboards make it easy to manage all the different devices throughout our network locations in different parts of the country, and especially recently with the new widgets. Tech support is quick, and often offers to connect remotely to assist with any configuration, and questions. It also helps that they release new updates about 4 times a year, constantly introducing new things.
Our network is made up of a lot of Cisco devices, and NetCrunch's build in Nbar support, and the ability to add widgets, and create custom maps of the different locations that we have - just make sense to go with NetCrunch. Also, the build in MiB compiler makes it easy to for us to monitor the generic devices
Our newest blog entry shows you how to monitor Cisco IP SLA with our NetCrunch network monitoring system. IP SLA (Internet protocol service level agreement) is a Cisco mechanism to test the network performance in the real time. NetCrunch is able to display information from IP SLA operations and to monitor it. Devices that support IP SLA are automatically recognized by NetCrunch.
Version 9 of the NetCrunch network monitoring suite is now available. It offers powerful new features, like:
Each download comes with 30 days of free support, as well as live installation assistance.
NetCrunch 9 has just been released! The newest version of our network monitoring suite features Cisco IP SLA support, conditional and advanced alerting features, our GrafCrunch fork of Grafana, and major architectural changes. The new 64-bit Server supports over 600,000 monitoring sensors on a single machine, which can be a VM!
The new 64-bit NetCrunch 9 server supports over 600,000 monitoring sensors from a single virtual machine! It also includes our GrafCrunch fork of the popular open source Grafana dashboarding utility. See what's new today.
AdRem Software will be unveiling NetCrunch 9 at IP EXPO London, and to celebrate we'll be giving away The Red Five LEGO Star Wars X-Wing. One will be raffled at our Oktoberfest Event at our booth at IP EXPO on Tuesday, and the other will be given away on twitter. Enter to win!
