N1 Viewer is a fast native Windows photo and image viewer designed for serious image browsing, culling, inspection and comparison. It combines fast preview-first navigation and persistent caching with direct GPU / iGPU selection, high-precision SDR, HDR and wide-gamut output, advanced color management, batch tag and metadata editing, and a customizable Modern or Classic interface.
It supports JPEG, HEIC/HEIF/HIF, AVIF, JPEG XR, PNG, WebP, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PSD, OpenEXR, Radiance HDR and JPEG XL, as well as CR2, CR3, DNG, NEF, ARW, RAF, ORF and RW2 RAW files.
N1 Viewer includes Filmstrip, Gallery and Culling workflows with ratings, Pick / Reject, labels and auto-advance; 2- and 4-image comparison; adjustable thumbnails; filename and folder search; filters; multi-select; Explorer-order persistence; folder-tree navigation; copy and undoable delete; Touch / Pen gestures; Photoshop / Lightroom handoff; and multi-monitor support.
Its color pipeline supports color-managed SDR, Wide Gamut and HDR presentation through Windows Advanced Color, with extended ICC processing and support for Adobe RGB, Display P3 / DCI-P3, ProPhoto RGB, Rec.2020, Rec.2100 PQ / HLG, HDR10 / PQ, linear scRGB and custom embedded ICC profiles. Supported decode paths can handle 8-, 10-, 12- and 16-bit sources, as well as HALF / FLOAT HDR sources.
Optional local AI features include visual and semantic search, Find Similar and reference-image search, Fast and Detailed Auto Tags, AI-generated titles and descriptions, metadata suggestions and OCR text search. AI processing runs locally with GPU, iGPU or CPU acceleration. Duplicate Search can also find exact and near-duplicate images, including copies with different filenames, formats, resolutions or compression.
N1 Viewer is distributed through the Microsoft Store and includes a 7-day trial.
