myBoard Alternatives

    myBoard is described as 'Windows port of Mac OS X dashboard. It application for Windows operating systems, used for hosting mini-applications known as magnets'. There are six alternatives to myBoard for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and Android Tablet. The best alternative is XWidget, which is free. Other great apps like myBoard are KDE Plasma Workspaces (Free, Open Source), AveDesk (Free), Amnesty Generator (Free, Open Source) and macOS Dashboard (Free).

    1. Plasma Workspaces is the umbrella term for all graphical environments provided by KDE. Plasma separates components into "data engines" and their visualization counterparts.
