What is Mudroom?

Mudroom runs coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, opencode, Aider or any command) in a Linux sandbox on a copy of your project, so your real folder is never mounted. On a Mac the app uses a micro-VM on an APFS copy-on-write clone. By default the sandbox has no DNS and no route out: the only exit is a proxy on your machine that allows the agent's API hosts plus anything you add, and logs every connection. When the agent finishes you review the diff and apply all of it, some files or single hunks, and you can undo any apply. Native Swift app for macOS 26 on Apple silicon, plus a CLI for Linux, Windows and Intel Macs that uses Docker or Podman. MIT licensed.
