coop

coop is a free, open-source sandbox for running Claude Code, Codex, and other coding agents locally on macOS or Linux. It gives the agent access to a chosen project, hides common secret files, and lets you control which sites it can reach. You can also run tasks in separate local clones and review the changes before merging. It also builds some quality-of-life features on top of that:

• automatic rotation of models and providers when they are rate-limited;
• task orchestration that lets you schedule a lot of work and be sure agents won't give up implementing them;
• using models from different providers together and fusing their results.
