The purpose of this browser is unclear.
Mainly it is a rebranded version of an actively developed Privacy Browser with some patches added.
It is hard to find an up-to-date list of differences with the upstream project or information about why it was created in the first place instead of contributing to the upstream project.
Monocles is a small project maintained by one person for years and Monocles browser had seen almost no external contributions, which makes it highly unsustainable.
