Takes security seriously, sleek and minimal design, a delightful product that does exactly what it promises to do.

Incredible alternative, works very well. It even saves whiteboard as a local file.

But unfortunately if you like the convenience of auto-saves, or storing the files "inside the app itself" so that next time you can just launch the app & select the thumbnail in a couple of clicks without needing to touch File Explorer (like Miro), you're going to need the Excalidraw+ subscription; which has a pricing that is just overkill for personal/hobbyist use.

Click and play : Simple and encrypted.

Also, it is open-source and can be installed on your server.
