It's good to make slideshows and stuff, but I still haven't seen any turing machine made in it.
In many respects, LibreOffice is the superior to Powerpoint. It has all the features you need without bloat. I consider LibreOffice Suite as a whole to be far superior to Microsoft Office. It retains an intuitive interface for people who had used windows since it's inception, without trying to be a web-page or mobile app like Microsoft Office is doing.
You can do all the important things that Microsoft Office does in LibreOffice and you can not beat the price!
