What is MF-Finance?

MF Finance is a personal finance tracker for Mac and Windows that shows your complete financial picture (bank accounts, credit cards, investments, retirement accounts, loans and property) in one place. It tracks your net worth over time, your spending across accounts, and the holdings, allocation and performance of your investment portfolio.

Unlike most finance trackers, it is a desktop application rather than a web service. Accounts are linked through Plaid and synced to the app, and your financial data is stored on your own computer instead of on the company's servers. Assets that banks don't report, such as a home or private holdings, can be added and updated manually.

MF Finance is a paid subscription with no advertising, and it focuses on tracking rather than budgeting.
