What is MeetAgain?

MeetAgain is a community platform for local groups that meet regularly - language exchanges, book and film clubs, dinner clubs, hobby groups and associations.

Organizers plan recurring events, members RSVP (with guests), and the group gets reminders, an iCal feed and its own pages built with a drag-and-drop editor, each page in several languages. Plugins add tools for specific kinds of groups: a shared film or book list, a board game library, a dish collection, a glossary.

Events are listed in chronological order. There is no algorithm and there are no ads.

Groups can use the hosted service, which runs on servers in Germany, or install the open source software (EUPL licence) on their own server. Using it on meetagain.org is free; a group's own website costs 2 to 6 EUR per month, members are always free. Everything can be exported and moved to a self-hosted install at any time, so there is no lock-in.

The interface is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Chinese.
