MathEdu Online is a free web platform for practising school mathematics from preschool to 9th grade. It combines two things most practice sites keep separate: short explanatory articles that teach the method, and exercise generators that produce an endless supply of fresh problems on the same method.
Content is available in five languages — Slovak, Czech, German, English and Spanish — and it is not a machine translation of one curriculum. Topics are mapped to each country's own curriculum, so the same grade shows different topics depending on the language, and details like currency, decimal separators and number formats follow local conventions.
Nothing is behind a paywall or a sign-up wall: every article and every exercise works without registration. An optional free account adds saved progress across devices, long-term statistics, full-length grade tests, topic badges and printable certificates.
What it offers
- Around 470 exercise types across 90 topics, from counting and shapes up to powers, roots, the Pythagorean theorem, linear equations and systems, percentages, probability and basic statistics
- Every exercise is a generator: numbers are randomised on each attempt, so the same exercise can be practised repeatedly without memorising answers, and many exercises offer several difficulty levels
- Over 400 explanatory articles per language (~2,200 in total), including separate "for parents" versions that explain how to help a child with a topic
- Immediate feedback and step-by-step hints on every exercise
- Printable tests: generate a worksheet for a single topic or a whole grade, print it with a separate answer key, and use it offline or in class
- On-screen grade tests with a progress bar and a per-topic breakdown of results
- Statistics per exercise, topic and grade, including streaks and weak spots to practise
- Bronze / silver / gold badges per topic and a printable certificate for a flawless test
- Works on desktop and tablet in the browser; no installation, no app required
Articles and individual exercises are free and always will be. Paid plans for parents and teachers (custom test builder, classes, exports) are planned but not available yet.
