What is PebbleYard?

PebbleYard is a learning app for children aged 5 to 11. Each session is a short lesson followed by a quiz or a spelling test - about ten minutes a day.

It comes with built in subjects around - maths, English/grammar, geometry, geography, countries and continents, and space - referenced against the Australian Curriculum v9. Parents, educators and teachers can also write their own topics on any subject and they work exactly like the built-in ones - popular parent-written topics include history, general knowledge, dinosaurs, football teams and the periodic table.

Privacy is built in: children have their own login based on a PIN parents setup, there are no ads, no chat or messaging whatsoever, and nothing to buy inside the app. Leaderboards are private to the family and are completely optional and use an alias, not the child's name. A lockable session timer keeps sessions to the intended length.

Plans: Solo ($14/mo or $89/yr, 1 child) and Family ($19/mo or $149/yr, up to 3 children). A 7-day trial needs no credit card, and there's a full demo with no account required.
