MASV

MASV is a cloud-based intelligent managed file transfer (IMFT) designed to orchestrate global file movement in cloud, on-prem, and hybrid workflows. It leverages a AWS dedicated global network and proprietary acceleration technology to ensure the fastest possible transfer speeds and relentless reliability, regardless of location or file size.

In addition to file transfer, MASV provides a number of other tools to make workflows more efficient, including file collection portals, cloud storage, automation tools, API, and integrations with third-party storage providers. MASV also has a Desktop application for increased speed and reliability, with exclusive features such as upload and download automations, channel bonding, pause and resume functionality, growing files, zero-wait delivery (MASV Express) and the ability to support 10Gbps network speeds.

MASV provides a secure and compliant environment for file transfers with features like password protection, in-flight and at-rest encryption, download limits, and custom branding for a professional touch. MASV also provice a comprehensive suite of resources for integrating the MASV IMFT platform into custom applications, media asset managers (MAMs), and automated workflows. The suite includes a full-featured REST API, the MASV Agent (a lightweight, cross-platform command-line service for client-side uploads and downloads), and the MASV Web Uploader for embedding MASV’s transfer technology directly into proprietary web applications.

The MASV Agent is a cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, Docker) service for automated, “set-and-forget” file transfers. This headless application, controlled via CLI or local REST API, suits developers and system integrators. It monitors folders for automatic uploads, downloads files to on-prem servers 24/7, and connects on-prem storage to MASV via its Storage Gateway. The Agent ensures transfer completion with checkpoint restarts and relentless retries, integrating MASV’s high-speed capabilities into automated pipelines.
