Even after years of use I haven't found a replacement. Extremely fast, powerful, and portable. It doesn't do a lot of the in-depth stuff other apps do, but it doesn't have to be incredibly useful.

BUGS

  • Regex mode is unstable, could not even find itself, in Regex mode
  • Regex is broken ... recognises Regex when it is disabled BUT not when enabled
  • searches all connected drives by default
  • does not save any search settings
  • not available on WinExp context-menu
  • options settings are broken , nothing sticks
  • no support (no email, no forum)
  • last update in 2015

As is typical for Donation Coder software, this is an excllent program. It is the best of several search programs I have used. It's the one I've come to rely on to be certain to detect all of what I'm searching for. I like to use it to open up the containing folders for files and to delete files. It becomes fully operational reasonably quickly when it's called up.
