It is clean, fast and intuitive. But it will be discontinued, as the landing page shows: We are no longer accepting new registrations for Manuscripts.io. We are planning on decommissioning this site soon. The capabilities of Manuscripts.io will continue to develop and will resurface in other scholarly applications from Wiley Partner Solutions.

I was not able to get the online service to work at all.
Posts in the user forum indicate that the forum is not very well maintained and the project is funded but the Spanish Ministry of Health.
Th GitLab repo is active (March 2022).
