What is MacViewPro?

MacViewPro is a lightweight image viewer built natively for macOS and inspired by the fast, keyboard-driven workflow of IrfanView.

It is designed for quickly opening images and browsing through folders without importing files into a library. Familiar keyboard shortcuts make it easy to move between images, zoom, rotate, flip, save and perform common editing operations.

MacViewPro includes multiple fit and fullscreen modes, precise zoom controls, zoom-to-selection and pixel-level inspection. Basic editing tools include crop, resize, rotate, flip, brightness and contrast adjustment, curves, sharpening and blur, with undo support.

It supports common image formats including JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, HEIC, WebP, AVIF, PSD, PDF, BMP and ICO, as well as major RAW formats. It can also inspect EXIF, IPTC and XMP metadata and display a live histogram.

Images can also be converted and saved in different formats with configurable Save As options.

MacViewPro is a native universal macOS application for both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. It is independently developed and is not affiliated with IrfanView.
