Really bad application. Stay away. I've tested it for a few months a year ago, but I've settled on CoreCode's MacUpdater instead.
CoreCode's MacUpdater is the boss
Developer completely abandoned the user base. When contacted about the lack of future updates, the author was extremely defensive and replied with a lot of lame excuses about how difficult it was to adapt MacUdate Desktop to current MacOS releases. What was once many years ago a good solution turned into virtually useless application. One of the worst cases of developer support I've ever experienced.

call it what it is. it is "register it or it is super limited.". $20 for six months... = $40 per year. [[??]]
so this IN MY OPINION is app-crap. THIS IS WAY TOO expensive, even considering how convenient it is to have an app to fetch updates for every app installed. IT does keep you from having to launch each app individually to update one at a time -- but if you are a relatively long-time MAC user -- you may remember how great it was to have a wealth of "freeware" that was REALLY REALLY free.
