Lunascape, which is developed by Lunascape Corp in Tokyo, Japan, is my Default Browser. Lunascape is still developed with its latest release being January 15, 2025 for Phoebe version. Support for Orion was discontinued in 2018. Phoebe is fast and privacy-oriented for quick general default downloading and viewing. Orion uniquely uses 3 rendering engines..Gecko/Mozilla, Webkit/Safari, & Trident/IE which you can assign to your liking, though Trident is basically outdated. (Chrome uses Blink) It has built-in RSS reader, cascade view, etc. Orion supports Firefox’s extensions when the Gecko engine is used. Lunascape is however, quirky.. x close on left side of tab vs right etc. To me, using more than one browser makes sense. For general use, I prefer Brave because Brave's built-in AI has been ahead of the pack. Lunascape is worth considering.
There is a newer version with a release in 2020 called "Lunascape Phoebe" which adds macOS support. The older "Lunascape Orion" was last updated in 2018 and seems to have stopped development.
Phoebe requires .Net 4.5 (Windows). Orion can be installed as portable.
This browser is in dire need of a complete UI overhaul and revamp.
It looks ugly and straight from 2007.
...... with the Orion update it works almos flawless. It isn't exatcly a light browser and can feel heavy on low-end machines. Luna has some neat features and lots of customization options! The english speaking forum is nonexistant, but Luna is being worked on— the developer is a company that origined in Japan. It get's better and better with each update. 2010/11 versions were horrible, v.6 seems ok right now.

I have used Lunascape for some time now, it becomes more and more unstable. When I restore the whole browser and them want to maximize it, you guess waht happened? it break my screen to two part. I have no way but restart the whole browwser. Lunascape is not the only muti-core browser. I also use Avant browser. Seems Avant browser works more stbale in my PC.
