What is LUMAFORGE?

Lumaforge is a client-side photo editing platform offering advanced color management and image manipulation in the browser, eliminating the need for heavy desktop software. It features Steganographic Presets, embedding the mathematical node tree into the metadata of exported PNGs for easy reconstruction of edit history and slider states. Other tools include non-linear RGB spline curves, cinematic split-toning, and high-dynamic-range exposure controls.

Users can create their aesthetic, export custom grades as .CUBE LUTs for integration into software like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects. The Uplink feature allows users to publish their custom grades, explore public presets, and remix others' math onto their own canvas. Lumaforge uses 100% local browser rendering through the Canvas API, with a 30-step Undo/Redo history stack and fast WebP image compression.
