What is LoudLab?

LoudLAB is an audio application designed to Monitoring & Control loudness levels. LoudLAB can be used to measure: Long-term, Short-term and Momentary loudness, LRA (Loudness Range) and True-Peaks (EBU R 128, ITU-R BS.1770) of Audio Files and Real-Time audio.

LoudLAB includes an innovative Loudness Range Compression System. The Compressor is based on psychoacoustic principles and therefore ideal to control Loudness Levels.

The `Loudness Distribution' graph, is a phenomenal way of analysing the results of compression, and therefore LoudLAB displays it for both the input and output signals.

Furthermore, LoudLAB offers an array of precision tools, designed to improve the final audio product, including: dithering, DC removal, linear-phase `Brick Wall' filters, a automation system and more.

The Audio File Player imports WAVE, AIFF, FLAC, NeXT/Sun and MP3, and exports WAVE, AIFF and NeXT/Sun files with bit depths of 8, 16 , 24, 32 fixed point and 32, 64 floating-point.

LoudLAB can also be used on real-time audio signals and the output can be recorded to disk.
