What is Loquil?
Loquil is an AI dictation app for Windows, Linux and Android. Hold a hotkey (or tap a bubble above the keyboard on Android), speak naturally, release: your voice is transcribed, cleaned up by an AI model — fillers and false starts removed, punctuation and formatting fixed — and pasted right where your cursor is, in any program: Word, Outlook, Gmail, WhatsApp, Excel, business software.
Besides the default cleanup it offers Rewrite and Summarize modes and message styles (formal, casual, short). It supports 35+ dictation languages and can dictate in one language while writing in another (speak Italian, get an English email). A personal dictionary of names and terms is synced across devices.
Free plan with a weekly word quota (no card), flat monthly plans, no API keys to manage. Audio is processed in the cloud only for the duration of the request and not stored. Made in Italy.
