Loquela

Loquela is an Android keyboard with integrated voice typing. It combines traditional keyboard features like autocorrect, suggestions, clipboard tools, custom layouts, themes, snippets, and personalization with a speech-to-text function.

The voice typing uses downloadable speech recognition models, such as Whisper and Parakeet. Users can choose models based on language support, download size, phone compatibility, speed, and context capability. Once downloaded, the voice transcription can work offline.

Loquela offers customizability with different layouts, custom boards, adjustable sizes, themes, key styling, profiles, custom accents, microphone selection, clipboard controls, and privacy settings. The voice typing feature can be turned off if not needed.

Typed text and voice recordings are not sent to Loquela's servers. Personalization and history features are stored locally with protection for sensitive fields and an Incognito mode. There is an optional Remote transcription mode for users who prefer cloud processing.

The basic keyboard and some local speech models are free. A one-time purchase of Loquela Full gives access to all compatible models and additional customization features.
