You can record a ride and then crop it to hide your start and end locations, and then upload it directly to Strava as either private or public. That's a lot of control over what you do with your rides. It may support other third party sites but I haven't used any others yet.
This app cannot be run without having Google Play installed on your android device, whereas OSMAnd can be run independently of the Google Services Framework. For that reason I am now only using OSMAnd despite having previously paid for Locus Maps Pro. However, I then have to upload the ride to Strava and then crop it via Strava's web app. That's much more effort.
Best Android Topo app with tracking I am aware of.
I use it for Opencaching trips with an osm map - it's great.
