Easy to use and I like the one-time payment.

What is LocalCan?

LocalCan is an ngrok alternative for developers. It creates Public URLs (tunnels) for sharing local apps, testing webhooks, and running OAuth flows, with custom domains and automatic HTTPS, and it publishes .local domains across your local network, including wildcard subdomains. Built-in traffic inspection lets you watch, replay, and export requests. Snapshots keep a static copy of your app online at the same URL while your machine is off, and access control protects shared URLs with a password, secret link, or IP rules.

LocalCan ships as a desktop app on Mac and Windows and as a CLI on all three platforms (Linux is CLI-only). Everything is configurable as YAML, and an MCP server lets AI agents inspect traffic and manage URLs. A free plan is included, and paid plans are subscriptions.
