Link TURBO

Link turns live streams and long videos into short clips, on your own computer. It is free and open source (GPL-3.0), has no account, and uploads nothing except the clips you choose to post.

It comes as two programs.

Link Lite Recorder is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Brave. It records the Kick or Twitch stream playing in your tab as one mp4, lets you mark highlights with a hotkey or marks them by itself when chat speeds up, and keeps a rewind so a moment can be saved after it happened. The marks come with the recording as a list to copy or as markers for DaVinci Resolve.

Link TURBO is the full program for Windows. It records up to three streams at once (or takes a video link or a file), ranks up to 30 moments per recording from loudness, movement, chat speed and what is said, and makes 9:16 clips with a hook and captions timed to the voice. It can post to YouTube Shorts and Instagram and show their numbers. Link Night records for the hours you choose while you are away.

Speech is recognised on your own PC, so no recording is sent to a service.
