I like Librevault as an open source solution for file sync\storage that doesnt require cloud dependencies.
Not a single post or update on their website since 2016 so lets assume the project is dead.
Develop branch on github was quite active until December 2017.
But the current status is unclear, no replies on issues from the developer after 2016: https://github.com/Librevault/librevault/issues/99
librevault 1.0 has come
Exists on development branch following massive rewrite https://github.com/Librevault/librevault/tree/develop Releases are Windows (exe) and Mac (dmg) with Linux as a snap or to be built from source
