What is LibreGuard VPN?

LibreGuard VPN is an independent VPN service focused on privacy, transparency and straightforward VPN access. Its client applications use established VPN protocols including IKEv2/IPSec and OpenVPN.

LibreGuard routes DNS requests through private DNS infrastructure over the VPN tunnel and provides optional DNS-based ad blocking. The service offers both a free tier and paid Pro plans. The Free plan includes a monthly data allowance and access to selected server locations, while Pro provides unlimited bandwidth, broader server access, additional protocol support and up to three active devices.

LibreGuard Pro accounts can be created anonymously without providing an email address. Users can pay for Pro using payment cards or Monero, providing an additional privacy-oriented payment option.

LibreGuard publishes the source code of its client applications on GitHub, allowing users and developers to inspect how the applications work.

LibreGuard does not store browsing history, DNS requests or traffic contents. Operational data required for accounts, billing, abuse prevention and service operation is handled according to the LibreGuard Privacy Policy.
