Have you ever felt frustrated when you just want to look at the content of a large text file but it takes forever for Notepad or Word to open it? This program was designed for viewing large (>1GB) text files. It uses little memory and is able to open a gigabyte file instantly.

I was first of all using glogg when I had to do with big text files. But in glogg there was some trouble with big files and I got some errors. So I was searching for another tool that can pretty fast e.g. show me how many lines a file has.
This tool here has an ugly website and does not very serious or in any way trustful. It seems like a bad project if you just have a look on.
But! Just taking some time and using it you will love the speed. It was way faster for me then glogg. It also didn't have any errors in the files where glogg was giving up it's work.
So I think I you need a good tool that is working for more files then glogg you should take it. If you need a nice tool that is working for the most files out there take glogg.
