I used many alternatives like XAMPP, AMPPS, etc, but the best is Laragon! after 2024 it wants me to pay, but i prefer to use version 6. and it still working good!

Very convenient alternative to XAMPP for Windows. All configs in one place, and you can quickly review and change them from one place. Also Laragon can download and deploy apps via simple config file. Contains several portable tools, but it's overly in my opinion.
Beginning December 16, 2024, users will be required to pay for access to the latest version, with no free trial or similar options offered. While the developer claims that version 6.0 will remain available for free, it's still disheartening to witness the transformation of a once-great free app into yet another subscription model.
And... only 1 star, for all this product, really ?

Laragon just works. It is fast, portable, and predictable. No fighting configs, no broken environments, no wasted time. It feels like a reliable assistant that stays out of your way.
Laragon is for me the new standard updated replacemente for XAMPP for local development, with a lot of improvements and extra plugins.
And now is open source, plus non-comercial is free.
I used the newest XAMPP and had weird PHP OpenSSL Errors like (error:80000003:system library::No such process). After spending hours trying to fix it i searched for alternatives to XAMPP and thanks to AlternativeTo found Laragon. After deinstalling XAMPP and installing Laragon everything worked flawlessly, no more PHP OpenSSL Errors. I didn't even reboot the machine, so it was clearly a XAMPP issue. I really like XAMPP for the easy UI but if it causes such weird errors I can't really use it for development. Guess I gonna use Laragon instead from now on.
