What is LangOrbit Reader?

LangOrbit Reader is a browser-based reader for learning English, and Spanish, by reading real books. The library is public-domain classics, from Aesop's Fables at A2 to Don Quixote at C1, a number of them with a sentence-aligned translation beside the text; for learners of Spanish there are classics and short graded stories from A1 up, with the translation beside every sentence. You can also upload your own EPUB or FB2.

Every book has a tap-to-translate dictionary (the meaning in this sentence, forms, frequency, pronunciation), grammar constructions explained in the line you are reading, and read-aloud with word-by-word highlighting. Each book page on the site shows the book's level and the words you will meet most often in it. Saved words go into the LangOrbit app's daily lesson with spaced repetition (FSRS) on the same account.

Offline reading, dyslexia-friendly fonts (OpenDyslexic, Atkinson Hyperlegible) and a reading ruler are built in. Interface and translations in a range of languages; courses: English and Spanish. Free to try within daily limits, no card and no signup wall; paid plans for full access.
