Laminar Stream information
What is Laminar Stream?
Laminar Stream is a LAN-based screen broadcasting tool designed for animation and creative education classrooms. Teachers broadcast their screen to students who connect via any web browser — no software installation required on student machines. It uses DXGI Desktop Duplication for capture and NVENC hardware encoding for low-latency, high-quality video delivered over WebRTC. Features include AI noise suppression for audio, one-click MKV recording with automatic MP4 remux, and a dual-device D3D11 architecture with atomic cross-process A/V sync. Built in Rust with an ACSC Essential Eight-aligned security architecture. Designed for TAFE, university, and studio environments on Windows.
