What is Labelic?

Labelic is a browser-based label designer for barcodes, QR codes and regulated product labels. Nothing to install and no operating-system requirement: it runs the same on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS.

Barcodes are produced by a real encoder, not a font, so check digits and start/stop characters are computed rather than drawn. 28 barcode formats plus QR.

You do not have to start from scratch. Labelic imports label files from other systems — ZPL, EPL, TSPL, DPL, CPCL, IPL and Brother LBX — and converts them into editable designs, reporting how many commands it could not convert so you know exactly what to check. Nothing is locked in on the way out either: export to print-ready PDF, PNG, or native ZPL for Zebra thermal printers, with Avery sheet layouts included.

Variable data comes from Excel or CSV — one spreadsheet row per label.

133 ready-to-use templates across 17 industry categories, plus 20 standards assistants covering food (EU 1169/2011, FDA), chemicals (GHS/CLP), pharmaceutical (UDI, DSCSA, FMD), automotive (VDA, AIAG, Odette, GALIA), cosmetics, cannabis and logistics. These assistants guide you on the fields each regulation expects — they do not certify that a label is compliant, and they are not legal advice.

Interface in 16 languages. Made and hosted in the European Union.

Note: the design canvas requires a desktop browser. Phones get a read-only view.
