What is Krill?

Krill runs several CLI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, OpenCode, Antigravity) or plain shells side by side, each in its own Git worktree. Terminal sessions are owned by a separate daemon and PTY holder, so agents keep running when the app is quit, crashes or is updated, and the app reconnects to the same sessions. Agent status hooks surface sessions waiting for input in a Needs You queue. It also includes diff review with inline comments, a headless CLI, multi-agent task orchestration and an end-to-end encrypted mobile web companion. Built with Rust and GPUI instead of Electron; in the developer's benchmark at 10 terminals it used 85.9 MiB of memory versus 1,274.9 MiB for Orca. Apache-2.0 licensed; Apple Silicon macOS with a Windows x64 preview.
