What is KRAFTO?

KRAFTO is a browser-based design tool that revives the workflow of Macromedia Fireworks. Vector shapes and bitmap images live on the same hybrid canvas — draw bézier paths over photos, erase pixels, and transform everything together, no mode switching. Live effects like drop shadows, glows, bevels, and textures stay non-destructive: adjust or toggle them anytime, just like the Fireworks you remember.

The familiar structure is here too: pages with per-page canvas sizes, Fireworks-style states for frame animation (exportable as GIF or MP4), symbols for reusable elements, vector masks you can reshape after the fact, and layers that work as object containers. Projects save as .kr.png — a real PNG with the full project embedded, thumbnailing in Finder/Explorer and reopening for editing anytime, in the spirit of .fw.png.

And it goes beyond Fireworks where it counts: trace raster logos into editable bézier paths, hand off PSDs with fully editable text, and export 300dpi PDFs with trim marks for print shops. Built-in tables with formulas and live-updating charts even cover meeting docs, with searchable-text PDF export. Runs entirely in the browser — no installation, and your files never leave your device. Available in 10 languages.
