What is Kopi?

Kopi is a free, open-source clipboard manager. It runs in the background and keeps everything you copy (text, links, images, colors and code) so you can find it and paste it again in a keystroke.

Type a few letters to search your history, and narrow results by content type or by the app you copied from. Pinboards keep the replies, addresses and snippets you reuse one shortcut away. You can paste as plain text to drop fonts and formatting, and the whole app is keyboard-first with shortcuts you can change.

Kopi is built to be private. Your history is stored in a local database on your computer, it works fully offline, and it needs no account. Copies from password managers and content marked as concealed are skipped, and you can add your own apps to the ignore list.

Kopi is available now as an alpha for macOS 14 or later (Apple silicon and Intel). A Windows version is in development, followed by optional end-to-end encrypted sync between Mac and Windows computers.
