Kimiko is a private AI notepad for meetings and notes, for Apple silicon Macs and Windows 11 PCs.
Take notes during a call while Kimiko transcribes it. It records your microphone and your computer's audio, so it works alongside Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other call apps, and no bot joins the meeting. Live speaker labels keep up to eight remote voices apart. Afterwards you get a summary and suggested next steps. Keep the tasks you want, and each one stays linked to its meeting.
Ask about one meeting, a project or your whole library, then follow the answer back to its source. Dictate into other apps with your own shortcut. Export summaries, notes and transcripts to PDF, Word or Markdown.
Speech and AI run on your computer by default. You download the recommended models during setup, and you don't need an AI account. Notes are stored in an encrypted database on your computer, and meeting audio isn't saved unless you choose to keep it for 7 or 30 days. If you'd rather use the cloud, connect Deepgram or ElevenLabs for speech, OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter for AI, with your own account. Local processing still uses the internet for downloads, updates, activation and subscription checks.
Desktop AI apps such as Claude, Cursor and Codex can read your notes, meetings and tasks, and add or update tasks, through Kimiko's local MCP server. It stays off until you turn it on, and task changes have their own switch.
Try Kimiko free for 14 days. The trial starts with your first recording, and you don't need an account. After that it's $12 a month or $107.88 a year, tax included, and one license works on up to three of your computers.
