Once monitoring Jaksta will detect and begin to download (and convert if required) any video, music, radio stream or Flash game or presentation that is played in your browser. I many of the popular Firefox add-ons, replay catcher, etc. but nothing would download these FlowPlayer vids I was trying to get. Jaksta worked. Gave me the source .flv files. It also "converted" to QuickTime, but that simply resulted in a flash video wrapped in a .mov file. Anyway, it was definitely worth the $50 price tag.

PCWIN Speaker Record is a very simple free alternative. Ultra simple interface it's on or off nothing else. There is at least one more alternative here I saw once and can't find again after many tries. It was a free browser toolbar
