Horrible. Will take you hours to make it work in docker and even then, intermittently until some OS / Invoice Ninja update will break it. Not working as I am typing this and trying to fix it enough to export database and use a different solution. Don't trust this software with you accounting.

I've been a paid subscriber to an InvoiceNinja hosted plan for over a year. I really like the software - it's very well thought-out, easy to use, reliable, and it isn't a data prison like most other paid applications out there. I've been a paid subscriber to an InvoiceNinja hosted plan for over a year. I really like the software - it's very well thought-out, easy to use, reliable, and it isn't a data prison like most other paid applications out there. I decided to commit to a paid subscription because of the necessary options it provided in addition to the fact they were going to be deploying via Flatpak very soon. Over a year on, the only real issue I have is as a Linux user they seem treat treat the Flatpak distribution method as a bother and inconvenience. They promised to deliver it via Flatpak over a year ago but then relied on upstream bugs to explain away why they didn't get to it. Then, when they finally delivered the first Flatpak just about a month ago (that's about 13 months after I first subscribed), they then go back to explaining away bugs in upstream code as to why they don't keep their Flatpak package up-to-date. As a note, their so-called 'upstream bugs' get resolved within days of discovery so they aren't actually an obstacle for any amount of time. Long story short, the InvoiceNinja team appears to have a bias against Flatpak and I don't understand it since it's essentially the ".exe" of Linux and would help make the software available to more users. They favor snap and while that's fine and good for servers, it's less than desirable for a desktop-only user like myself.
Great invoicing software! I was using InvoicePlane before that, but InvoiceNinja is more complete.
I LOVE Invoice Ninja! It's so quick and makes invoicing painless. You can add clients and products and create quotes/invoices in 60 seconds. You can even do recurring payments and manage expenses through it.
