What is Inspect?

Inspect is a mobile web debugging tool for iOS and Android, described by its makers as agent-first: a command-line interface with structured JSON output so that AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, as well as developers, can inspect and fix mobile web pages. It provides DOM and CSS inspection, console logs, network monitoring and screenshots, and verifies fixes on the device.

It debugs Safari, Chrome and WebViews on iOS, and Chrome and WebViews on Android, on physical devices connected over USB, and on iOS simulators on a Mac with Xcode. Hosts: macOS, Windows and Linux.

Pricing (from inspect.dev/pricing): a free tier with two 15-minute debug sessions a day and no sign-in; a $29 Pass for seven days of unlimited sessions; Pro at $79 a year; Teams at $99 per user a year with seat management. Paid plans are account-based and use a sign-in rather than licence keys.
