What is Indico?

Indico is a general-purpose event management tool that is web-based and feature-rich. It is extensible through plugins and is an open-source software under the MIT License. It was developed at CERN.

Indico's features include a flexible content management system for events, a conference organization workflow, call for abstracts and abstract reviewing modules, and a flexible registration form creation and configuration. It integrates with existing payment systems, has a paper reviewing workflow, and a timetable management interface. It also includes a badge editor for printing badges and tickets, tools for managing meetings and archiving presentation materials, a room booking interface, and integrates with existing video conferencing solutions.
